YİMYargıtay İçtihat Merkezi (YİM) is a free application developed by the Yargıtay Başkanlığı with the aim of effectively disseminating the current and precedent decisions of the Court of Cassation. This artificial intelligence-supported app provides access to such decisions via the internet and mobile devices. Users can explore Court of Cassation decisions based on various criteria like keywords, legal topics, importance level, issuing court, decision type, related legislation, and summary processed by the Court of Cassation.
YİM allows users to save selected decisions in personal folders or subfolders and store query criteria in their profiles. Upon request, users are automatically notified via email when new decisions matching their saved query criteria are published. Citizens can activate their profiles by logging in through the application or the "E-Government Login" section on the website. Judges and prosecutors can access thematic notes in addition to precedent decisions by logging in through the "Judge/Prosecutor Login" section.
